Description
TICKOPUR R 27 is a phosphoric acid-based special cleaner concentrate for descaling and derusting machine parts, fittings, water meters, workpieces, chains, glass and ceramic components in industry, trade and laboratories. Formulated for SONOREX ultrasonic units and also suitable for immersion and wipe cleaning, it removes strong mineral deposits such as limescale, silicates, phosphates and cements, as well as rust, temper colours, metal oxides and grease or oil films from steel, stainless steel, precious metals, glass, ceramic, plastic and rubber when used as directed. The liquid, highly concentrated, emulsifying and biodegradable cleaner from manufacturer Bandelin gives pH 1,9 at 1 %. With ultrasound, typical dosing is 5 % for 2–10 minutes at 20–60 °C; without ultrasound, 10–20 % for up to 12 hours at 20–60 °C. Ensure full wetting, vent hollow parts, then rinse thoroughly with water and finally with demineralised water. Caution with tin, zinc, light metals and unprotected steel; preliminary compatibility tests are recommended. Hazard statement H314 applies.
