At the same time it determines turbulence intensity and draught risk in accordance with EN ISO 7730 and ASHRAE 55. A permanently attached cable links the probe to the instrument, while a clearly structured measurement menu for turbulence intensity supports intuitive operation. Integrated absolute pressure measurement compensates for air density, helping ensure accurate results. Digital probe design keeps measurement uncertainty of the instrument out of the chain, and only the probe needs to be sent for calibration so the meter can remain in service. Ideal for assessing workplace comfort, the probe quantifies temporal fluctuations in air velocity that underlie draught complaints. For measurements at different heights, a comfort measurement tripod (ordered separately) simplifies standards-compliant probe positioning. Net weight is 0,526 kg; the unit is supplied as one piece for laboratory and indoor-climate applications.
