Description
Ultra Clear RO EDI systems combine water purification, reverse osmosis and EDI technology.
Ionpure EDI technology provides a consistent, cost-effective supply of pure water.
The system continuously produces pure water from potable water using reverse osmosis and electro-deionization with a conductivity of up to 0.055 µS/cm.
The electro-deionization stage also reduces the TOC and endotoxin content as well as the bacterial counts.
Feed water requirements:
Hardness-free or hardness-stabilized feed water.
Demand: 15 - 22 l/h
Inlet pressure: 0.1 - 5 bar
Temperature: 5 - 30C
Conductivity: < 1400 µS/cm

Iron (total content): < 0.1 mg/l
free chlorine: < 0,1 mg/l
CO2: < 10 mg/l
SiO2: < 10 mg/l
Technical data:
Operating pressure: max. 6 bar
power consumption: 0,2 kW
electr. connection: 100-240 V, 50-60 Hz
Requirement for ambient conditions: 5 - 35°C
Connections:
Raw water: 3/4''
Pure water: d= 8 mm
Drain concentrate: d= 8 mm
Drain brine: d= 6 mm
Dimensions and Weight:
Height: 530 mm
Width: 340 mm
Depth: 420 mm
Weight: 31 kg
Please note:
The performance is based on a raw water salt content of max. 750 mg/l (TDS) equivalent to a conductivity of 1400 µS/cm at 15°C. From 10°dH or higher, a softener is recommended.
The Ultra Clear RO EDI can be put into operation without the help of a
factory service engineer.
The feed water specifications are guidelines. The pure water specifications can only be guaranteed, if a drinking water analysis is available for the plant location and all other relevant
parameters have been evaluated.
Applications include feeding dishwashers, autoclaves, ultrasonic systems and the production of media, dilution reagents and buffers.

Questions about Ultra Clear RO EDI 10
What is this article?
Ultra Clear RO EDI 10 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Evoqua Water Technologies for laboratory use. It sits in Water purification cartridges & consumables, inside Water purification, in Lab instruments.
Cartridges, lamps and final filters are the consumables of a water system. A spent ion-exchange cartridge lets ions through, and the resistivity falls. The cartridge has to be the one that model names. A cartridge from a different brand with a similar shape is a leak or a bypass.
Laboratory water is a reagent. Tap water carries ions, organics and microbes that become part of every result they touch. A pure-water system takes most of them out. An ultrapure system, often a polisher after a first stage, is what HPLC, cell culture and trace analysis ask for. Resistivity, total organic carbon and endotoxin are different claims. A cartridge is spent when the number drifts, not when the calendar says so. The measurement of those impurities sits with NIST and the BIPM.
Which category should I open next?

What should I check before I order?
When this page shows a safety data sheet, use that manufacturer file. Hazard text does not belong in the sales description. For a pack size, a grade or a certificate that is not on the page, send a quote request or contact the team.
How does ordering and shipping work?
Luminix Health distributes this article from the heart of Europe. Articles in stock ship within 2–5 business days. Standard delivery is free from €250 excl. VAT. Cold-chain goods and dangerous goods under ADR are never included in that free delivery. The terms are in the Shipping Policy. The full brand index is on shop by brand. Who we are is on about us.
Which other categories should I open?
The seven catalogues are Labware, Lab chemicals, Lab instruments, Lab consumables, Chromatography equipment, Lab safety equipment and Life Science & Microbiology.
