Description
USB Hub 2.0 4 Ports is a compact laboratory accessory that expands a single USB Type A interface on a PC to four additional USB device connections. The hub is Plug & Play ready, requires no driver installation and remains backward compatible with USB 1.1. Power is normally drawn through the USB cable; for higher-consumption instruments an external power supply can be connected via the 3,5/1,35 mm DC jack. The Euro power supply is included in the delivery. Connection layout comprises one USB Type A plug input and four USB Type A socket outputs. Supplied as a single unit with a net weight of 0,200 kg, the hub (IKA) is intended for everyday laboratory bench use where multiple USB peripherals must be linked to one computer without complex setup. Its simple cabling and included mains adapter make it a practical addition to instrument control stations, data-loggers and other PC-based laboratory workflows.

What is this article?
USB Hub 2.0 4 Ports, USB hub with 4 ports is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes IKA for laboratory use. It sits in Safety footwear, inside Protective clothing & workwear, in Lab safety equipment.
Safety footwear is specified by toe protection, slip resistance and, where needed, chemical or puncture resistance. The standard marking on the shoe, not the look of the boot, is the specification. Open shoes do not become safety shoes by being worn in a laboratory.
Workwear is the layer between the person and the room. A lab coat is the ordinary coat. A coverall is what is worn when the coat does not cover enough. Cleanroom garments are about the particles the person sheds, not only about the splash. Radiation and hearing protection are specific physical hazards with their own ratings. The rating, not the colour, is the specification. Equipment placed on the EU market follows the PPE Regulation. Practice is at EU-OSHA on dangerous substances.
