Description
VISCO JET® 120 mm (POM) is an innovative centrifugal stirrer for reliable agitation of highly viscous media such as pastes and gels, ensuring thorough mixing throughout the vessel without air entrainment. The specially formed impeller blades create a self-dynamic flow that yields significantly better mixing results than conventional stirrers and shortens process times. It functions as an all-rounder for aqueous and high-viscosity substances alike. This VISCO JET® 120 from manufacturer Heidolph is made of polyoxymethylene (POM) plastic and is suitable for use up to a maximum of 90 °C. It is ideally matched to vessels with a diameter of 200–300 mm, a bottom clearance of 36 mm, a fill height of 200–300 mm and working volumes of 6300–21200 ml. Overall length is 500 mm; a polyamide-coated stirring shaft of approximately 10 mm diameter is included. Supplied as one piece for laboratory stirring tasks with demanding media.

Questions about VISCO JET® Impeller 120mm (POM)
What is this article?
VISCO JET® Impeller 120mm (POM) is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Heidolph for laboratory use. It sits in Stirring & mixing accessories, inside Stirring, shaking & mixing, in Lab instruments.
Stirring accessories are the bosses, the retort clamps and the spare knobs that hold an overhead stirrer over the vessel. The stand has to carry the motor's mass, not only the flask's.
Stirring keeps a mixture uniform or helps a solid dissolve. A magnetic stirrer spins a bar inside a closed vessel. An overhead stirrer drives a shaft when the liquid is viscous or the volume is large. A vortex mixer agitates a tube. A shaker moves a whole rack or a plate. The shape of the impeller and the speed decide whether the liquid turns over or merely spins. The vessels being stirred are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
