VOLS-1 adapter set for small volumes is designed for viscosity measurements on particularly valuable or expensive samples available only in limited quantities. The set incorporates a double jacket with temperature sensor for rapid heating or cooling of the specimen, together with a coaxial cylinder system that allows analysis under a defined shear rate. Further spindles and chambers for different volumes are available separately, so laboratories can expand the configuration as measurement needs evolve. Supplied as one complete set from manufacturer IKA, VOLS-1 integrates with the ROTAVISC platform and is intended for non-sterile laboratory environments.
