Whirl Pak® plastic bags measuring 23 x 15 cm (L x W) are versatile sample bags particularly suited for liquid samples in food, water and wastewater examination as well as for biological or chemical specimens. Produced from low-density polyethylene (LDPE), the sterile bags feature a filling opening reinforced on both sides by a metal clip that keeps the mouth taut for convenient handling. Hermetic sealing is achieved by holding the bag at the metal clip, whirling it several times around its own axis and then folding in and firmly pressing the clip ends. The Whirl-Pak® design permits repeated opening and closing whenever required. A strong weld seam along all sides provides extra security during use and transport.
