Description

The tempered beaker 150 ml is a double-walled laboratory vessel intended for precise and reliable temperature control of media. Constructed from borosilicate glass 3.3 (Clean Safe laboratory glass conforming to DIN ISO 3585), the jacketed design allows the working temperature to be set by an external thermostat. Two GL thread connections fused to the outer mantle enable a secure link via screw caps, hose olives and compatible tubing. The beaker is configured for simultaneous use with a magnetic stirrer, ensuring effective mixing of the tempered medium. Approximate internal dimensions are a diameter of ca. 50 mm and a height of ca. 80 mm; the vessel is supplied in tall form with a nominal volume of 0,15 l. Suitable for biological and chemical processes that demand accurate thermal management, this Landgraf HLL tempered beaker controls the medium temperature through the outer jacket. Required accessories include two caps and two hose olives for the GL connections. The design supports straightforward cleaning after laboratory use.

Questions about Beaker tempered, 150 ml

What is this article?

Beaker tempered, 150 ml is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Landgraf HLL for laboratory use. It sits in Beakers, inside Beakers & flasks, in Labware.

A beaker is an open, straight-sided working vessel with a spout. It is for dissolving, heating and pouring. The graduations are a guide, not a volumetric calibration. Low form and tall form differ in stability and in how easily a liquid splashes.

A beaker is an open working vessel: easy to pour, poor as a measure. An Erlenmeyer flask has a flat base and a conical wall so a liquid can be swirled without climbing out. A round-bottom flask is for heating under a condenser, because the heat meets a curved wall and the joint at the neck connects to the rest of the glassware. Borosilicate is the glass that survives the temperature change. These forms are listed under ISO laboratory glassware.
