Description
Tempered beaker 800 ml, tall form is a double-walled laboratory beaker for accurate and reliable temperature control of media. The outer jacket is made of Clean Safe laboratory glass and is tempered by connection to an external thermostat through two fused GL thread ports. These ports accept perforated caps, hose olives and tubing for a simple thermostat circuit. Approximate dimensions are 85 mm inner diameter, 130 mm outer diameter, 155 mm inner height and 180 mm outer height, with GL connections oriented tangentially to the rear. Manufactured from borosilicate glass 3.3 in tall form with a nominal volume of 0,8 l, the vessel is designed for use with magnetic stirrers to ensure good mixing of the tempered medium and is easy to clean. Suitable for biology and chemistry work, this tempered beaker from Landgraf HLL can optionally be supplied with a product lot or batch number and quality certificate when requested on the order.

Questions about Beaker tempered 800 ml, h. F.
What is this article?
Beaker tempered 800 ml, h. F. is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Landgraf HLL for laboratory use. It sits in Beakers, inside Beakers & flasks, in Labware.
A beaker is an open, straight-sided working vessel with a spout. It is for dissolving, heating and pouring. The graduations are a guide, not a volumetric calibration. Low form and tall form differ in stability and in how easily a liquid splashes.
A beaker is an open working vessel: easy to pour, poor as a measure. An Erlenmeyer flask has a flat base and a conical wall so a liquid can be swirled without climbing out. A round-bottom flask is for heating under a condenser, because the heat meets a curved wall and the joint at the neck connects to the rest of the glassware. Borosilicate is the glass that survives the temperature change. These forms are listed under ISO laboratory glassware.
