Description

BOLA laboratory screw joints HT for GL 25 threads and 9,52 mm (3/8") hose outer diameter are laboratory fittings for secure, chemically resistant tubing connections. The black screw cap is produced from glass-fibre reinforced PPS and uses wrench size SW 27 for reliable tightening on GL 25 interfaces. Inner components include a PPS clamping ring as well as a sealing wedge and sealing plate made of PTFE, so the medium contacts only PTFE. An additional FKM O-ring is specified for hose outer diameters below 3 mm and remains outside the flow path without medium contact. Good chemical resistance results from the PTFE-wetted construction, which is appropriate for many laboratory fluids. These HT screw joints from manufacturer Bohlender match 9,52 mm outer-diameter hose and GL 25 threads for bottle, vessel and transfer applications. Each assembly is supplied as one piece with a net weight of 0,031 kg. The robust PPS cap combined with PTFE sealing elements gives a durable mechanical interface while keeping the process path chemically inert for routine laboratory fluid handling.

Questions about BOLA HT Laboratory Screw Joints, GL 25 Ø 9,52 mm SW 27 Glass-fibre reinforced PP

What is this article?

BOLA HT Laboratory Screw Joints, GL 25 Ø 9,52 mm SW 27 Glass-fibre reinforced PP is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Screw caps & closures, inside Stoppers, caps & closures, in Labware.

A screw cap has a thread and a liner. The thread has to match the bottle. The liner has to survive the liquid: a pulp liner fails in a solvent that a PTFE-faced liner ignores. The colour of the cap is not the specification.

A closure is the part that decides whether a bottle stays shut and whether the contents attack the seal. A ground-glass stopper matches a ground neck. A screw cap needs the right thread and a liner that survives the liquid. Rubber and silicone stoppers push into a mouth. The liner, not the colour of the cap, is the chemical choice. The vessels they close are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
