Protein LoBind® Tubes with a nominal volume of 1,5 ml are specialised reaction vessels developed for protein work and other sensitive sample-recovery applications. These colourless tubes are made from polypropylene (PP) and feature Eppendorf LoBind® material, which supports optimised sample recovery and improved experimental reproducibility. Without any surface coating such as silicone, the risk of sample interference is kept to a minimum. The batch-certified PCR clean grade confirms freedom from human DNA, DNase, RNase and PCR inhibitors, making the tubes suitable for demanding molecular biology and protein biochemistry workflows. A precise snap-cap seal helps limit sample evaporation during handling, incubation or storage. Each unit comprises 100 tubes packed as 2 bags of 50 tubes. Offered by manufacturer Eppendorf, Protein LoBind® consumables are also available as microtest plates and deepwell plates, enabling straightforward scale-up from single tubes to higher-throughput formats in routine laboratory practice.
