bioMIXcontrol S is a stackable control unit for the bioMIXdrive stirring drives (models 1, 2, 3 or 4), developed for demanding laboratory routines and uncompromising heat-free continuous operation. It connects one bioMIXdrive 1, 2, 3 or 4 stirrer drive with heat-free 6 W per stirring position and an extended speed range of 5 to 250 rpm, ensuring jerk-free, uniform stirring even at the lowest speeds. A ten-step power setting from 10 to 100 % supports high output for large or viscous stirring volumes and reduced power for absolutely heat-free continuous use, for example in CO2 incubators. Features include a digital display for speed and power adjustment, SoftStart for reliable and safe acceleration of the stir bar, QuickSet for rapid setting of the initial or maximum speed, and storage of the last operating state after switch-off. The durable stainless steel housing is easy to clean. Interfaces such as 0–10 V, 4–20 mA for process control systems, RS232, USB, Ethernet, OPC UA and LADS-oriented options, as well as alternative housings or firmware changes, are available on request. Developed and made in Germany by 2mag, the unit offers a three-year warranty on material and manufacturing defects. Maximum stirring power is 40 W, protection class IP20, dimensions 215 × 120 × 57 mm, and supply 100–240 V / 50–60 Hz / 1,5 A with 48 VDC output.
