MIXcontrol 40 is a control unit for connecting up to two MIXdrive stirring drives, providing a powerful 40 W stirring output over a speed range of 100–2000 rpm. Jerk-free stirring is maintained even at low speeds, and a 10-step power adjustment enables high performance for large or viscous volumes as well as reduced power for heat-free continuous duty, for example in incubators. The unit from manufacturer 2mag offers a digital display for speed and power setting, SoftStart for reliable catching and centring of the stir bar with safe acceleration, and QuickSet for rapid selection of initial or maximum speed. The last functional state is retained after switch-off. A durable stainless-steel housing is easy to clean and rated IP20, with dimensions of 200 × 155 × 38 mm. Mains connection is 100–240 V / 50–60 Hz at 1,5 A with 48 VDC output. Developed and manufactured in Germany, it is supplied as a single control unit for laboratory stirring systems.
