steriMIXdrive stirring system with external control for autoclaves is an ultra-flat, compact and very powerful magnetic stirrer with fully automatic stir bar monitoring mixWATCH, supporting stirring volumes from 1 to 40 litres and intended for autoclave use. Its strong magnetic coupling is well suited to power transmission over larger distances or through thick vessel bottoms. The maintenance-free motor drive covers a wide speed range of 100 to 1,200 rpm. The encapsulated, pressure- and vacuum-tight housing in PPSU/stainless steel is rated IP68, temperature-resistant from −10 °C to +150 °C at 100 % humidity, joint-free, easy to clean and highly robust. An easyMOUNT plug coupling allows fast, simple attachment of the stirrer cable to pressure- and steam-tight feed-throughs in the steam vessel. Developed and made in Germany by manufacturer 2mag, the integrated mixWATCH system automatically stops, recentres and gently reaccelerates the stir bar if magnetic coupling is lost through excessive speed or changing viscosity, ensuring reliable unattended operation. Maximum stirring power is 20 W at 24 VDC. The single stirring position measures 140 × 140 × 32 mm with a net weight of 1,30 kg. Please order the steriMIXcontrol control unit separately.
