Description

AHN myPlate 96-well PCR plate with 0,1 mL well capacity is a low-profile plate with a raised semi-skirt designed for PCR and qPCR applications. It offers 96 round-bottom wells of 15,50 mm height and an A1 notch for unambiguous orientation on the thermal cycler. The frosted polypropylene surface improves the signal-to-noise ratio in quantitative PCR, contributing to greater accuracy and reliability of experimental results. Alphanumeric coding permits simple identification of each well so that samples can be tracked conveniently throughout the workflow. Raised well rims support secure sealing with foil or adhesive film, minimising evaporation and preserving sample integrity. The plate is sealable with disposable adhesive and is supplied in a carton of 5 × 10 pieces (50 plates) from manufacturer AHN Biotechnologie. Compatibility data can be requested. This frosted raised-skirt format is suitable for molecular biology laboratories needing stable handling and clear optical performance.

This article is part of PCR plates, tubes & strips, in Microplates, PCR & reaction tubes.

Questions about AHN myPlate 96-Well PCR Plate, 0.1 mL, sub semi-skirted, frosted, Case / 5 x 10

What is this article?

AHN myPlate 96-Well PCR Plate, 0.1 mL, sub semi-skirted, frosted, Case / 5 x 10 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes AHN Biotechnologie for laboratory use. It sits in PCR plates, tubes & strips, inside Microplates, PCR & reaction tubes, in Lab consumables.

PCR plates, tubes and strips are thin-walled so a thermal cycler can change the sample temperature quickly. A skirted plate is what a robot grips. White wells reflect light for qPCR. A standard 1.5 mL tube in a cycler block does not make proper contact.

A microplate is an array of wells so the same step can be done many times. A deep-well plate holds more volume. A PCR plate or a strip of tubes is thin-walled so the temperature of a cycler reaches the liquid quickly. A seal keeps the well from evaporating. The well number, the working volume and whether the plate is skirted for a robot are the choices. Diagnostic test systems are listed under ISO in vitro diagnostic systems. Methods are on PubMed.
