Description

Backflow preventer 3/4'', 10 bar is a pipe separator developed to protect drinking water from returning treated water. The unit is DIN/DVGW tested and aligned with the performance requirements of DIN EN 13959, with confirmation by an accredited test body. In accordance with DIN EN 1717 it is suitable for safeguarding equipment used with liquids of categories 1 and 2. Media are cold and heated drinking water at a maximum medium temperature of 65 °C; maximum flow is 24 l/min and operating pressure ranges from 0 to 10 bar. Inlet and outlet are 3/4'' female/male, with a G 1/4'' drain connection and an installation length of 67 mm. Mounting should be in a horizontal pipeline with the test opening facing downward. This backflow preventer from manufacturer Evoqua Water Technologies provides a compact, standards-oriented barrier against reverse flow in laboratory and technical water circuits where potable-water protection is required. Supplied as a single piece, it supports reliable separation between supply and process sides without expanding the stated pressure or temperature limits.

Questions about Backflow preventer ¾‘‘, 10 bar

What is this article?

Backflow preventer ¾‘‘, 10 bar is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Evoqua Water Technologies for laboratory use. It sits in Stopcocks & valves, inside Tubing, hoses & fittings, in Labware.

A stopcock opens and closes a line, or directs it between ports. Glass stopcocks have a ground plug that needs grease or a PTFE key. The bore decides the flow. A two-way and a three-way key are different parts.

Tubing is how a liquid or a gas moves between two vessels without being poured. Silicone stays flexible and survives repeated autoclaving. PTFE resists almost every solvent and is stiff. PVC is the ordinary flexible line for water and for mild aqueous work. The fitting, not the tube, is what usually leaks: the barb, the thread and the stopcock have to match the tube bore. Glass and plastic apparatus around these lines is indexed under ISO laboratory ware.
