Description

Beaker, low form DURAN® 25 ml with graduation and spout is a low-form laboratory beaker designed for measuring, mixing and transferring modest liquid volumes in everyday laboratory practice. The vessel is made from borosilicate glass 3.3 under the DURAN® trademark and conforms to DIN 12 331, combining chemical durability with good thermal shock resistance. White graduation markings support approximate volume reading, while the poured spout enables clean, directed transfer. Dimensions are 50 mm height and 34 mm outer diameter, giving a stable low-form (Philips) geometry on hotplates and benches. Nominal volume is 25 ml (0,025 l). From manufacturer Hirschmann, this graduated DURAN® beaker suits sample preparation, reagent handling and general wet-chemistry applications in research, quality control and teaching environments. The pack contains 10 pieces for convenient laboratory restocking.

Questions about BEAKERS, LOW FORM DURAN 25 ML, WITH GRADUATION AND SPOUT

What is this article?

BEAKERS, LOW FORM DURAN 25 ML, WITH GRADUATION AND SPOUT is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Hirschmann for laboratory use. It sits in Beakers, inside Beakers & flasks, in Labware.

A beaker is an open, straight-sided working vessel with a spout. It is for dissolving, heating and pouring. The graduations are a guide, not a volumetric calibration. Low form and tall form differ in stability and in how easily a liquid splashes.

A beaker is an open working vessel: easy to pour, poor as a measure. An Erlenmeyer flask has a flat base and a conical wall so a liquid can be swirled without climbing out. A round-bottom flask is for heating under a condenser, because the heat meets a curved wall and the joint at the neck connects to the rest of the glassware. Borosilicate is the glass that survives the temperature change. These forms are listed under ISO laboratory glassware.
