Description
Binocular Microscope iScope is a laboratory light microscope configured for transmitted-light observation with corrected E-Plan objectives and wide-field eyepieces. The optical path supports magnifications of 40x, 100x, 400x and 1000x using DIN objectives on a five-position nosepiece: 4x/0,10, 10x/0,25, 20x/0,40, S40x/0,65 and S100x/1,25 oil immersion. EWF 10x/22 mm eyepieces pair with a binocular head that rotates through 360°, supporting comfortable multi-user work. A rackless mechanical stage measuring 187/230 x 140 mm with belt-drive guidance provides smooth specimen positioning without a protruding rack. Height-adjustable Abbe condenser optics at N.A. 1,25 and adjustable 3 W NeoLED transmitted-light illumination with an internal 85–240 V power supply deliver stable, even field brightness. Supplied from manufacturer Windaus in protective styrofoam packaging complete with dust cover, spare fuse and operating instructions, the instrument suits routine brightfield work in teaching, clinical and research laboratories where reliable NeoLED illumination and E-Plan image quality are required.

Questions about Binokulares Mikroskop IScope
What is this article?
Binokulares Mikroskop IScope is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Windaus for laboratory use. It sits in Microscope objectives, eyepieces & optics, inside Microscopy & histology, in Lab instruments.
An objective makes the resolution. Magnification and numerical aperture are the two numbers, and the tube length or the infinity correction has to match the microscope. An eyepiece mostly enlarges the image the objective already resolved. A mismatched objective does not become sharper by zooming.
A light microscope forms an image with glass lenses and transmitted or reflected light. A stereo microscope is the lower-magnification instrument for dissecting and for looking at a surface. Fluorescence needs a light source and filters matched to the dye. Histology is the preparation that makes a tissue readable: fixation, a cassette, a section, a stain. The objective's magnification and numerical aperture decide the resolution. The slide and the cover glass decide whether the section sits in the focal plane. Stains and dyes as substances are identified on PubChem. Papers on the methods are on PubMed.
