Description
Bioreactor 2 l MyFerm Basic Set is a glass reactor with a nominal volume of approximately 2 l for incubation of microorganisms and cells. It is made from chemically resistant borosilicate glass with high durability; all media-contacting parts are glass or PTFE/PP. The complete bioreactor is autoclavable at 121 °C. Medium tempering is achieved with the available tempering coil together with an external circulating thermostat. Three integrated baffles support thorough mixing when a magnetic stirrer is used. Besides feeding, the ports can serve gassing, exhaust-air filtration with external filters, sampling and reactor emptying, and process monitoring. Approximate dimensions are height ca. 300 mm and diameter 140 mm, with volume to shoulder height ca. 2 l. The basic set includes vessel L14023002, threaded closure L14023101 and screw-connection set L140204V2 from manufacturer Landgraf HLL. The system follows a modular configuration principle and is completed with accessories and options to suit the intended laboratory workflow.
