Description

BOLA Tri-Clamp multiple distributor DN 20 with 20,0 mm pipe inner diameter and two GL 14 outlets is a PTFE connector for the transition from a Tri-Clamp connection according to DIN 32676 to dual GL-threaded nozzles. The plate diameter measures 34,0 mm at nominal size DN 20, matching tubing with 20,0 mm internal diameter. Each GL 14 stump has a bore diameter of 8,5 mm, enabling parallel take-off of process media into bottles, tubing lines or small reactors. Fabricated entirely from PTFE, the distributor is universally chemically resistant and ensures that the medium contacts only PTFE. This inert design supports aggressive solvents, acids and bases in synthesis, sample preparation and multiport laboratory manifolds. Supplied as one piece from manufacturer Bohlender, the lightweight fitting weighs 0,0195 kg and mounts directly onto standard Tri-Clamp hardware without metallic or elastomeric wetted surfaces. Research and process laboratories seeking compact, reusable branching between sanitary clamp systems and GL glassware can rely on this multiple distributor for clean, chemically robust fluid distribution in analytical and pilot-scale setups.

This article is part of Hose connectors, adapters & fittings, in Tubing, hoses & fittings.

Questions about BOLA Multiple Distributor Tri-Clamp, DN 20, 20, 0 mm / 2 x GL 14 Fitting for tra

What is this article?

BOLA Multiple Distributor Tri-Clamp, DN 20, 20, 0 mm / 2 x GL 14 Fitting for tra is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Hose connectors, adapters & fittings, inside Tubing, hoses & fittings, in Labware.

A hose connector or adapter joins two lines, or steps one bore down to another. The barb diameter has to match the tube, and the thread has to match the stopcock or the bottle. Most leaks are a mismatch here, not a hole in the tube.

Tubing is how a liquid or a gas moves between two vessels without being poured. Silicone stays flexible and survives repeated autoclaving. PTFE resists almost every solvent and is stiff. PVC is the ordinary flexible line for water and for mild aqueous work. The fitting, not the tube, is what usually leaks: the barb, the thread and the stopcock have to match the tube bore. Glass and plastic apparatus around these lines is indexed under ISO laboratory ware.
