Description

BOLA Reactor Lid DN 100, height 31 mm, is a multi-port reactor cover for glass reactors DN 100 with a SCHOTT® flat flange. It combines six internal screw threads for transition fittings with a centre neck of 1/2'' NPT, giving a clear layout for shafts, probes and accessories in laboratory reaction setups. Port arrangement includes NPT 1/2'' connections oriented directly to the shaft and aside the shaft, together with NPT 1/4'' connections aside the shaft and in a vertical position, so sensors and fittings can be placed around the central drive path without crowding. The lid is intended for use with matching DN 100 flat-flange glass reactor systems and accepts suitable transition fittings on the internal threads while the centre neck supports coupling toward the stirrer shaft. Offered as a single piece from manufacturer Bohlender, the component has a net weight of 0,5108 kg. It suits chemical and process laboratory work where a defined NPT interface pattern on a compact DN 100 reactor lid is required for controlled stirring, dosing or measurement tasks.

What is this article?

BOLA Reactor Lids, DN 100 H 31 mm 6 x female thread, center neck: 1/2 NPT, later is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Reaction vessels & jacketed vessels, inside Beakers & flasks, in Labware.

A reaction vessel is the flask a synthesis actually runs in, sometimes jacketed so a fluid can heat or cool the wall. The joints, the working volume and the jacket connections are the specification. It is not a storage bottle.

A beaker is an open working vessel: easy to pour, poor as a measure. An Erlenmeyer flask has a flat base and a conical wall so a liquid can be swirled without climbing out. A round-bottom flask is for heating under a condenser, because the heat meets a curved wall and the joint at the neck connects to the rest of the glassware. Borosilicate is the glass that survives the temperature change. These forms are listed under ISO laboratory glassware.
