Description

BOLA Temperature Probe Lemo Compact EX (PT 100) is a compact PT 100 temperature sensor enclosed in a stainless-steel tube (1.4571) with a conductive PTFE-EX outer sheath. The probe diameter is Ø 8 mm, the tip is Ø 6 mm and a Ø 12 mm drop-protection ring improves handling safety. Static electricity can be discharged with an earthing clamp (not part of the delivery). A Lemo® socket size 1 is mounted directly on the probe and operates in 4-wire configuration. Typical response behaviour is T50 of 20–24 s and T90 of 30 s. Dimensions are 470 mm overall length and 400 mm usable length, offered as one piece from manufacturer Bohlender. Net weight is 0,13 kg. Designed for laboratory and process temperature measurement, the probe combines chemical resistance of the PTFE-EX coating with controlled electrostatic dissipation and a compact Lemo connection for reliable integration into existing instrumentation setups.

What is this article?

BOLA Temperature Probes Lemo Compact EX (PT 100), Ø 8 mm, L 470 mm Usable length is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Temperature probes & sensors, inside Temperature measurement, in Lab instruments.

A temperature probe is the sensor, Pt100, thermocouple or thermistor, that a meter or a logger reads. The probe, not the display, is what is calibrated. The sheath material and the response time matter in a liquid versus a block.

A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
