Description

BOLA Temperature Probe Lemo Compact (PT 100) is a compact laboratory temperature sensor with a PT 100 measuring element housed in a PTFE-coated stainless steel tube (1.4571). The probe body has a diameter of 8 mm, a tip diameter of 6 mm and a drop protection ring of 12 mm diameter to reduce the risk of impact damage during handling. Electrical connection is provided by a Lemo® size 1 socket mounted directly on the probe and wired in 4-wire technique for accurate resistance temperature measurement. Typical response times are T50 of 7 to 12 s and T90 of 14 to 16 s, supporting timely feedback in laboratory monitoring. Usable probe length is 100 mm, with an overall length of approximately 170 mm, giving a short immersion profile for vessels and apparatus with limited insertion depth. The PTFE jacket combines chemical resistance with the mechanical stability of stainless steel. This compact probe from manufacturer Bohlender is supplied as a single piece for integration into temperature measurement systems that require a chemically robust PT 100 sensor with a direct Lemo compact coupling in routine laboratory and process applications.

Questions about BOLA Temperature Probes Lemo Compact (PT 100), Ø 8 mm, L 150 mm PTFE/Stainless S

What is this article?

BOLA Temperature Probes Lemo Compact (PT 100), Ø 8 mm, L 150 mm PTFE/Stainless S is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Temperature probes & sensors, inside Temperature measurement, in Lab instruments.

A temperature probe is the sensor, Pt100, thermocouple or thermistor, that a meter or a logger reads. The probe, not the display, is what is calibrated. The sheath material and the response time matter in a liquid versus a block.

A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
