Description

BOLA Temperature Probe Lemo Compact (PT 100) is a compact laboratory temperature sensor that houses a PT 100 measuring element for precise temperature acquisition. The element is protected inside a stainless steel tube of material 1.4571 completely sheathed with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), offering strong chemical resistance for demanding media. The probe measures 8 mm in diameter, the tip is 6 mm, and a 12 mm drop-protection ring reduces the risk of mechanical damage. Electrical interface is an integrated Lemo® size 1 socket fitted directly on the probe body and configured as a 4-wire system for accurate signal transmission. Typical response characteristics are T50 between 7 and 12 s and T90 between 14 and 16 s. Usable sensor length is 400 mm and overall length is approximately 470 mm, providing extended immersion depth while remaining compact at the connector end. Supplied as one piece from manufacturer Bohlender, the probe suits chemical, pharmaceutical and routine laboratory temperature monitoring where PTFE protection and a Lemo® coupling are preferred. Net weight is 0,085 kg.

Questions about BOLA Temperature Probes Lemo Compact (PT 100), Ø 8 mm, L 470 mm PTFE/Stainless S

What is this article?

BOLA Temperature Probes Lemo Compact (PT 100), Ø 8 mm, L 470 mm PTFE/Stainless S is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Temperature probes & sensors, inside Temperature measurement, in Lab instruments.

A temperature probe is the sensor, Pt100, thermocouple or thermistor, that a meter or a logger reads. The probe, not the display, is what is calibrated. The sheath material and the response time matter in a liquid versus a block.

A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
