Description

BOLA Temperature Probe PT 1000 is a PT 1000 laboratory temperature sensor enclosed in a stainless steel tube (1.4571) fully jacketed with PTFE. This construction delivers mechanical strength together with the chemical resistance needed for aggressive media and routine immersion work. The probe measures 8 mm in diameter, with a 6 mm tip and a 12 mm drop-protection ring. Usable length is 600 mm and total length is approximately 660 mm, suited to deeper vessels and baths. Connection uses a 1,5 m PFA-coated cable in 2-wire stranded configuration. Typical response times are T50 of 16–18 s and T90 of 47–50 s for responsive process feedback. Net weight is 0,186 kg. Supplied as one piece from manufacturer Bohlender, the probe supports accurate temperature monitoring and control in research and industrial laboratories that require PTFE-protected stainless steel immersion sensors of extended length.

What is this article?

BOLA Temperature Probes PT 1000, Ø 8 mm, L 660 mm PTFE/Stainless Steel, usable l is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Temperature probes & sensors, inside Temperature measurement, in Lab instruments.

A temperature probe is the sensor, Pt100, thermocouple or thermistor, that a meter or a logger reads. The probe, not the display, is what is calibrated. The sheath material and the response time matter in a liquid versus a block.

A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
