Description

BOLA Temperature Probe PT 1000 Lemo is a compact laboratory temperature sensor with a PT 1000 measuring element in a PTFE-jacketed stainless steel tube (1.4571). PTFE cladding and stainless steel construction provide chemical resistance and mechanical stability for immersion applications. Probe diameter is 8 mm, tip diameter 6 mm, and a 12 mm drop-protection ring aids safe handling. Usable length is 300 mm with an overall length of approximately 360 mm. Connection is via a 1,5 m PFA-coated cable fitted with a Lemo® size 1 plug in 2-wire configuration, enabling quick, secure instrument coupling. Typical response times are T50 of 16–18 s and T90 of 47–50 s. Net weight is 0,15 kg. Available as a single unit from manufacturer Bohlender, this Lemo-equipped PTFE/stainless steel probe is intended for temperature measurement and control in research and industrial laboratories requiring plug-ready immersion sensors.

What is this article?

BOLA Temperature Probes PT 1000 Lemo, Ø 8 mm, L 360 mm PTFE/Stainless Steel, usa is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Temperature probes & sensors, inside Temperature measurement, in Lab instruments.

A temperature probe is the sensor, Pt100, thermocouple or thermistor, that a meter or a logger reads. The probe, not the display, is what is calibrated. The sheath material and the response time matter in a liquid versus a block.

A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
