Description

Bunsen burner for natural gas is a DIN laboratory burner fitted with a needle valve and air regulation for controlled heating work. Constructed in accordance with DIN 30665, the burner is not fully extinguishable at the valve: a small flame continues to burn even when the gas tap or needle valve is closed, so the gas supply must be isolated at the central laboratory shut-off. Designed for natural gas operation, the unit from manufacturer Usbeck combines needle-valve metering with air regulation to adjust flame characteristics for typical laboratory heating, sterilisation and flame procedures. Supplied as a single piece with a net weight of 0,22 kg, it is intended for educational and research laboratories that require a standardised natural-gas Bunsen burner conforming to the DIN specification. The needle valve and air control support stable, adjustable flames for routine bench work while remaining simple to operate within normal laboratory gas installations.

Questions about Bunsen Burner Natural gas, DIN type needle valve, air regulation

What is this article?

Bunsen Burner Natural gas, DIN type needle valve, air regulation is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Usbeck for laboratory use. It sits in Bunsen & gas burners, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

A Bunsen or gas burner is an open flame for quick heating, for flaming a loop, or for bending glass. The gas, natural gas or cartridge, has to match the burner. It is the wrong heat for a flammable solvent.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
