Description

CellCamper® Midi is a compact cooling box for the safe transport of cells without ice or other external energy sources. Dedicated cooling units cover distinct temperature ranges (0 to +4 °C, −20 to 0 °C, and −22 to −18 °C) and maintain the selected conditions for between 5 and 14 hours. Dry ice may be used as an alternative to the cooling units when required. The supplied aluminium block accommodates 30 reaction vessels of 1,5 / 2,0 ml volume and incorporates a temperature scale for convenient monitoring during handling. Its geometry prevents the vessels from tipping, delivering more secure and controlled transport than conventional ice-based approaches. Should soiling or contamination occur, the housing can be cleaned readily with alcohol. This configuration from manufacturer neolab - Labor comprises the CellCamper® Midi box, the aluminium block with temperature scale for 30 × 1,5 / 2,0 ml tubes, and the Frozen cooling unit that holds −20 to 0 °C for up to 12 hours. Additional cooling units and aluminium blocks are available separately as accessories for flexible laboratory workflows.

This article is part of Cryo boxes, racks & freezer storage, in Cryogenics & cold storage.

Questions about CellCamper® Midi Cool Box including aluminum block for 30 x 1.5 ml reaction vess

What is this article?

CellCamper® Midi Cool Box including aluminum block for 30 x 1.5 ml reaction vess is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes neolab for laboratory use. It sits in Cryo boxes, racks & freezer storage, inside Cryogenics & cold storage, in Lab consumables.

A cryo box or a freezer rack is how vials are found again at −80 °C or in the vapour phase of nitrogen. The grid, 9×9 or 10×10, has to match the vials. A cardboard box and a polycarbonate box differ in whether they survive liquid nitrogen. The map of the box is part of the sample.

Cold storage slows chemistry and keeps cells, proteins and nucleic acids from falling apart. A cryogenic vial is made to survive liquid-nitrogen temperatures and to be sealed against the liquid. A box and a rack are how those vials are found again. The article is not part of free standard delivery when it must stay cold: cold-chain goods are never included in that free delivery. Biosafety of the material inside is summarised by the WHO laboratory biosafety topic. Reference lines are held by ATCC.
