Description

CHROMABOND Flash Stand Alone Kit Luer is a complete user kit for standard Luer interfaces in flash chromatography setups. It brings together the essential adapters and fittings needed to couple flash columns and solvent lines in stand-alone configurations. The kit contains one CHROMABOND Flash female Luer lock in polypropylene converting to a 1/4''-28 thread and one matching male Luer lock, also in PP, for the same thread standard. Two 1/8'' ferrules made of ETFE provide chemically resistant sealing of tubing, while two nylon couplings with 1/4''-28 internal threads and two long white polypropylene connection screws finish the hardware set. Offered as a single ready-to-use set from manufacturer Macherey-Nagel, the components support flexible assembly of purification systems in research and preparative laboratories. Polypropylene and ETFE parts are suited to typical organic solvents encountered in normal-phase and reverse-phase flash work. Laboratories can connect Luer-compatible CHROMABOND Flash columns and delivery lines quickly, simplifying system build-up or reconfiguration. This accessory belongs to the CHROMABOND Flash range of chromatography fittings intended for routine sample clean-up and method development.

Questions about Chromab. Flash Stand Alone kit luer

What is this article?

Chromab. Flash Stand Alone kit luer is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Macherey-Nagel for laboratory use. It sits in SPE cartridges & columns, inside SPE & sample preparation, in Chromatography equipment.

An SPE cartridge holds a bed of sorbent. Bed mass, sorbent chemistry and volume are the specification. A 100 mg C18 cartridge and a 1 g C18 cartridge take different sample loads and different elution volumes. The method names all three.

Solid-phase extraction holds a compound on a sorbent while the rest of the sample is washed away, then releases it in a small volume. The sorbent, the bed mass and the solvents are the method. Silica, ion exchangers and polymer phases do different jobs. A flash column is the same idea scaled toward purification rather than trace cleanup. The molecules are on PubChem, named by IUPAC.
