Colony counter CC10E is a compact, lightweight instrument for precise counting of bacterial colonies on Petri dishes up to 118 mm in diameter. It is equipped with a four-digit digital LED display (0–9999), a highly sensitive counting pen, and a correction function for adding or subtracting accidental counts. Adjustable side lighting from an energy-saving ring fluorescent lamp enhances contrast and colony visibility on the culture plate. An integrated 90 mm magnifier provides 3× and 6× magnification, complemented by a gridded counting plate for orderly enumeration. The CC10E version uses a rechargeable lithium battery, ideal for mobile deployment or shared laboratory benches, while the related CC10 model runs on AAA batteries.
