Description
Colony counter LBX CC100 is a laboratory instrument designed for efficient determination of the number of microbial colonies on sample plates. Four three-digit LED displays (range 0–999) show the values of the current and previous counts, so successive plate readings remain clearly visible during routine work. An average can be calculated from the individual counts, and up to 100 average values can be stored in memory for later review. The BACK key allows overcounted data to be subtracted without restarting the series. An adjustable plate carrier accepts Petri dishes of 90–150 mm as well as 60 mm formats, and pressure sensitivity can be set to suit different counting styles. Optional software supports adding, deleting, searching, printing and saving data in Excel-compatible.csv format. External dimensions are 351 × 302 × 370 mm; the unit operates on 100–240 V / 50–60 Hz and has a net weight of 7,000 kg.
