Converter KERN YKI-11 connects balances, force-measuring instruments and comparable devices fitted with an RS-232 data interface to an IP-based Ethernet network. Direct integration into most corporate networks is supported, with automatic configuration via DHCP or static IP allocation, allowing current measurement values to be retrieved from the entire network at any time. Configuration is handled flexibly through the web interface, and the converter is compatible with KERN BalanceConnection software. Designed for wall mounting or freestanding use, the unit from manufacturer Kern is delivered as an RS-232/Ethernet converter with two RS-232 ports and an EU mains adapter.
