It offers a cost-efficient alternative to multiple individual scales by linking a professional reference balance to a high-capacity weighing platform. The reference balance KERN CFS 3K-5 can also be used alone and, when connected to the bridge, meets demanding accuracy requirements. Desired reference piece counts and known reference weights are programmable via the keypad. Three displays show weight, reference weight and total piece count. Article memory (PLU) stores items with additional text, reference weight and tare weight of a container. Fill-to-target allows programming of a target piece count or weight, indicated by acoustic and optical signals when reached. Automatic reference optimisation progressively improves the average part weight. A protective working cover is included. Quantity counting is performed with high precision on the KERN KFP-V20 IP65 weighing platform from manufacturer Kern, with stainless-steel plate, painted steel substructure and an aluminium single-point load cell (1×3000 e) with dust and splash protection IP65.
