Description

CryoStorage Vials 4,0 ml are sterile cryogenic containers designed for secure long-term storage of larger sample volumes at ultra-low temperatures. Made from high-quality polypropylene under cleanroom class VIII conditions, they are free from DNase, RNase, human DNA and endotoxin to maintain high sample purity. Each vial features an external thread and a grey screw cap for dependable sealing. A three-level coding system—2D-SafeCode (DataMatrix/ECC200), linear barcode and plain-text label—ensures clear sample identification; ECC 200 error correction still allows reading when codes are damaged by up to 25 %. The vials from Eppendorf arrive pre-capped in individually wrapped racks, ready for immediate use at the bench. This pack provides 480 vials organised as 10 racks of 48 vials. They withstand temperatures from −196 °C in the vapour phase of liquid nitrogen up to +121 °C and integrate directly with Eppendorf eLABInventory and eLABJournal software for efficient documentation and data handling in cryogenic workflows.

This article is part of Cryogenic vials & tubes, in Cryogenics & cold storage.

Questions about CryoStorageV, 4.0mL,sterile;10x48;e3crg

What is this article?

CryoStorageV, 4.0mL,sterile;10x48;e3crg is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Eppendorf for laboratory use. It sits in Cryogenic vials & tubes, inside Cryogenics & cold storage, in Lab consumables.

A cryogenic vial is a small tube with a seal made for very low temperatures. Internal and external threads differ. A vial that will see liquid nitrogen has to be rated for it, and it should not be overfilled, because trapped liquid expands. The cap insert is part of the seal.

Cold storage slows chemistry and keeps cells, proteins and nucleic acids from falling apart. A cryogenic vial is made to survive liquid-nitrogen temperatures and to be sealed against the liquid. A box and a rack are how those vials are found again. The article is not part of free standard delivery when it must stay cold: cold-chain goods are never included in that free delivery. Biosafety of the material inside is summarised by the WHO laboratory biosafety topic. Reference lines are held by ATCC.
