Description
Ion exchanger SG-2000 is a mixed-bed ion-exchange cartridge for generating fully demineralised water in laboratory and process applications. The unit holds 13 l of MB400 mixed-bed resin and is fitted with AG 3/4'' hose screw connections. Built from stainless steel grade 1.4571, it can be operated at working pressures up to 10 bar. An optimised internal flow path supports efficient use of the resin bed. Nominal capacity is 2000 l down to 20 µS/cm at 10 °dH GSG, with a maximum flow rate of 450 l/h and a maximum water temperature of 40 °C. External dimensions are 230 mm diameter and 410 mm vessel height; net weight is 16 kg. This filled cartridge from manufacturer Evoqua Water Technologies is intended for continuous demineralisation duty where stable low-conductivity water is required. Conductivity meters and hoses or electrodes are available separately and are not included with the cartridge.

Questions about Deionizer - SG-2000, 3/4'', 13 Liter
What is this article?
Deionizer - SG-2000, 3/4'', 13 Liter is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Evoqua Water Technologies for laboratory use. It sits in Sorbents, silica gel & ion exchangers, inside SPE & sample preparation, in Chromatography equipment.
Loose sorbent, silica gel and ion-exchange resin are the phases bought in bulk to pack a column or to stir into a solution. Particle size and activity, or the ion-exchange capacity, are the specification. A TLC silica and a flash silica of different particle sizes are not the same separation.
Solid-phase extraction holds a compound on a sorbent while the rest of the sample is washed away, then releases it in a small volume. The sorbent, the bed mass and the solvents are the method. Silica, ion exchangers and polymer phases do different jobs. A flash column is the same idea scaled toward purification rather than trace cleanup. The molecules are on PubChem, named by IUPAC.
