Description

Ion exchanger SG-2000 is a compact stainless-steel empty cartridge for water demineralisation and VE applications. Made from stainless steel 1.4571, the vessel accepts 13 l of ion-exchange resin and is equipped with a 3/4'' male hose screw connection. It withstands working pressures up to 10 bar and provides a maximum pure-water production rate of 450 l/h. Nominal capacity is specified as 2000 l down to 20 µS/cm at 10 °dH GSG, with a maximum water temperature of 40 °C. Optimised internal water guidance supports effective utilisation of the resin bed once the cartridge is filled. External dimensions are 230 mm diameter and 410 mm vessel height. Supplied without resin as an empty cartridge, the SG-2000 from manufacturer Evoqua Water Technologies suits laboratories and smaller process lines that charge their own media. Conductivity meters, hoses and electrodes are available separately. The stainless construction offers a durable, space-saving solution for full desalination setups.

Questions about Deionizer - SG-2000, 3/4'', 13 Liter, empty container

What is this article?

Deionizer - SG-2000, 3/4'', 13 Liter, empty container is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Evoqua Water Technologies for laboratory use. It sits in Sorbents, silica gel & ion exchangers, inside SPE & sample preparation, in Chromatography equipment.

Loose sorbent, silica gel and ion-exchange resin are the phases bought in bulk to pack a column or to stir into a solution. Particle size and activity, or the ion-exchange capacity, are the specification. A TLC silica and a flash silica of different particle sizes are not the same separation.

Solid-phase extraction holds a compound on a sorbent while the rest of the sample is washed away, then releases it in a small volume. The sorbent, the bed mass and the solvents are the method. Silica, ion exchangers and polymer phases do different jobs. A flash column is the same idea scaled toward purification rather than trace cleanup. The molecules are on PubChem, named by IUPAC.
