Desiccator, inner x outer Ø 250×285 mm, height 300 mm, is a plastic laboratory desiccator designed to be break-resistant, lightweight, and vacuum-capable for drying and protected storage of laboratory samples. The integrated stopcock is suitable for vacuum levels down to −740 mmHg. Bottom section and perforated insert are polypropylene; the crystal-clear polycarbonate lid features a non-return and ventilation valve for safe evacuation and controlled pressure equalisation. An O-ring of polychlorobutadiene rubber provides the seal, and delivery includes the O-ring. Maximum continuous temperature is +60 °C. The hose connection matches tubing with an inner diameter of 8,5 mm. Offered by manufacturer Bürkle, this larger format gives additional internal volume while retaining transparent lid visibility and polymer durability for routine bench use. A perforated plate and further O-rings can be ordered as accessories. Net weight is 1,279 kg.
