Description
Digital microscope set KERN OZP 558C832 is a complete stereo zoom solution that combines first-class optics, strong illumination and digital tools for live sample examination. Stereomicroscopes of the OZP-5 series are supplied as a digital complete package with an adapted C-mount camera; the matching C-mount adapter is included in the delivery. The OZP 558 stereo zoom microscope offers an above-average magnification range together with a robust, ergonomic form that supports effortless work over several hours. Continuously adjustable 3 W LED incident and transmitted light ensures optimal illumination of the specimen. A large working distance, an extra-large field of view and brilliant resolution produce true-colour, high-contrast images with excellent depth of field. The continuously adjustable magnification from 6× to 55× enables fast, effective workflows. The column stand provides variable, robust adjustment for flexible, ergonomic positioning. The adapted ODC 832 C-mount camera uses proven CMOS technology with USB 2.0 for fast, clear imaging and is suitable for more demanding applications such as darkfield, phase contrast and fluorescence. Power is supplied via the USB cable, so no separate power supply is required. Delivery includes a dust cover, eyecups, multilingual operating instructions, KERN Microscope VIS Basic software (OXM 901), a 2000 mm USB cable, various eyepiece adapters and an object micrometer for software calibration, from manufacturer Kern.

Questions about Digital Microscope Set KERN OZP 558C832
What is this article?
Digital Microscope Set KERN OZP 558C832 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Kern for laboratory use. It sits in Stereo microscopes, inside Microscopy & histology, in Lab instruments.
A stereo microscope gives a low-magnification, upright, three-dimensional view for dissecting, for sorting and for inspecting a surface. It is not the instrument for a stained section at high power. Working distance and zoom range are the choices.
A light microscope forms an image with glass lenses and transmitted or reflected light. A stereo microscope is the lower-magnification instrument for dissecting and for looking at a surface. Fluorescence needs a light source and filters matched to the dye. Histology is the preparation that makes a tissue readable: fixation, a cassette, a section, a stain. The objective's magnification and numerical aperture decide the resolution. The slide and the cover glass decide whether the section sits in the focal plane. Stains and dyes as substances are identified on PubChem. Papers on the methods are on PubMed.
