Dividing head POM 10 samples complete L-27 is a laboratory sample divider designed for representative splitting of free-flowing materials and suspensions that do not generate surface abrasion. Constructed from POM plastic, it provides a fixed division ratio of 1:10 and yields ten equal partial quantities in a single pass. Maximum feed grain size is 10 mm and maximum sample volume is 2,500 ml; both dry and wet division are supported. Useful volumes of the sample vessels are 25 ml and 250 ml with GL55 screw thread. The complete head is supplied ready for use with ten 250 ml sample glasses including screw caps and a 10 mm diameter funnel, all included in the assembly. This configuration from manufacturer Fritsch is intended for reproducible sample preparation prior to analysis, reducing bias when large laboratory batches must be reduced to manageable aliquots. An anodised aluminium version is available separately for abrasive materials; the POM head is the preferred choice whenever surface wear must be avoided.
