Description
Drying board with drainage channel, W × H 400 × 400 mm, is a break-resistant plastic laboratory drying board for air-drying glassware and other lab equipment. The board is made of PVC and is fitted with polypropylene plug-in pegs that can be inserted individually into the mounting holes, locked in place and repositioned whenever needed. A removable drainage channel with drainage connection and drain hose directs runoff into the laboratory sink. Pegs in different lengths—60 mm, 100 mm and extensions to 150 mm—allow the layout to be matched to the vessels and instruments being dried. This 40 × 40 cm size is supplied with five 60 mm pegs, twenty-six 100 mm pegs and two 150 mm extensions, together with a key for the pegs. The extension is intended for use only with the matching 100 mm peg. Proven many times over in laboratory service and adapted to everyday drying requirements, this drying board from manufacturer Bürkle offers a stable, configurable workstation for wet glassware. Pack size is 1 piece; net weight is 2,609 kg.

Questions about Draining rack, w/ draining channel, BxH 400x400 mm
What is this article?
Draining rack, w/ draining channel, BxH 400x400 mm is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Drying ovens & climate chambers, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A drying oven holds a temperature above ambient to drive off water or to condition a sample. A climate chamber also holds humidity. Uniformity across the chamber, not only the set point, decides whether two samples on different shelves saw the same conditions.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
