DUO-08 LF Dual Softener -Twin tank, max. 19l/ min.

Dual water softener DUO-08 LF is a fully automatic, volume-controlled dual-tank cabinet softener for continuous soft-water supply and ideal pre-treatment ahead of reverse osmosis systems. It runs without electrical power; mechanical regeneration control keeps soft water available around the clock, including during regeneration. The LF low-flow nozzle detects volume streams from 0,19 l/min up to a maximum of 19 l/min, helping avoid hardness breakthrough at low demand. Two glass-fibre-reinforced resin tanks holding 2 × 4,5 l of cation-exchange material sit in a PE cabinet that also serves as the salt dissolving vessel, with an 8 kg salt reserve. Counter-current regeneration uses only soft water, so hardness builders cannot load the resin during rinsing; brine is prepared with soft water as well. Plastic components support corrosion resistance. Operating pressure is 1,75–8,5 bar, connection size 3/4'', and temperature range 1–49 °C. Typical regeneration uses about 0,5 kg salt and 34 l water in roughly 11 minutes, with backwash at 5,3 l/min. The complete dual-tank valve set includes an integrated water meter, hardness discs, raw-water hose and hardness test kit from manufacturer Evoqua Water Technologies (Kinetico ®). Dimensions are 560 mm height, 230 mm width and 465 mm depth.
