Description
DURAN® reagent bottle with narrow neck and clear glass body is a classic laboratory bottle formed from DURAN® borosilicate 3.3 Type 1 glass for storing liquid and solid chemicals as well as reagents. This 5000 ml bottle has a narrow conical standard ground joint NS 45/40 conforming to ISO 4796-2 and is supplied without glass stopper. The narrow neck is suited to liquids, while the shoulder angle supports clean, controlled pouring. Consisting only of glass components, it is appropriate for aggressive materials; when fitted with a matching stopper the ground joint gives a tight seal that helps protect contents from evaporation, oxidation and contamination. A permanent white enamel marking field and Retrace Code for production traceability are printed on the bottle, together with an easy-to-read graduated scale for content estimation. Available from manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences, this bottle supports storage of air-sensitive reagents, pharmaceuticals and chemicals, hygroscopic solids, granules and pharmaceutical powders, as well as sample transport and shipping in routine laboratory workflows.
