DURAN® ground socket NS 19/26 is a precision female conical joint component for laboratory glass apparatus construction. Made from borosilicate glass 3.3, it follows DIN 12249 Form E and meets elevated surface roughness requirements. The finer ground finish reduces joint grease demand and markedly lowers the risk of seizing. Ground connections should be used with grease or PTFE sleeves; KECK™ conical joint clamps provide secure retention. This socket offers a very low leak rate and a tight standard-ground seal.
