Description
Dynamic climate chamber MKF240-400V is an environmental simulation cabinet intended for cold and heat testing according to established DIN and IEC temperature and climate test standards. With a nominal volume of 228 l it covers −40 °C to +180 °C and relative humidity from 10 % r.H. to 98 % r.H., regulated by a capacitive humidity sensor with steam humidification and backed by an integrated 20 L water reservoir. APT.line™ preheating chamber technology, programmable condensation protection, heated viewing window with LED interior lighting and door heating support reproducible sample conditions. Programming is handled by an intuitive touchscreen controller with time-segment and real-time modes; an internal data logger provides open-format readout via USB. Standard features also include Ethernet interface, adjustable ramp function, integrated chart recorder, real-time clock, four potential-free switching contacts, Class 2 temperature safety device (DIN 12880) with optical alarm, optical and acoustic fault diagnosis, and water-shortage alarm. Cooling uses a compression refrigeration machine with CFC-free refrigerant R-452A; the interior is stainless steel. A left-side 50 mm silicone access port, hose rupture protection with supply and drain up to 1 m height, four casters (two lockable) and one stainless-steel shelf round out the configuration from manufacturer Binder, including APT-COM™ 4 Basic Edition software.

Questions about Dynamic climate chambers MKF240-400V
What is this article?
Dynamic climate chambers MKF240-400V is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Binder for laboratory use. It sits in Drying ovens & climate chambers, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A drying oven holds a temperature above ambient to drive off water or to condition a sample. A climate chamber also holds humidity. Uniformity across the chamber, not only the set point, decides whether two samples on different shelves saw the same conditions.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
Which category should I open next?
