Dynamic climate chamber MKF240-480V-C is a BINDER MKF-series environmental simulation cabinet intended for cold and heat tests in line with established DIN and IEC temperature and climate standards. The 228 l working chamber spans −40 °C to +180 °C with controllable relative humidity from 10 % r.h. to 98 % r.h., supported by APT.line™ preheating technology, steam humidification with capacitive humidity sensor and programmable condensation protection for samples. A heated observation window with LED interior lighting, integrated 20 L water reservoir, CFC-free R-452A refrigerant and compression cooling deliver stable climate performance. Operation is handled via an intuitive touchscreen with time-segment and real-time programming, adjustable ramp function, integrated line recorder and real-time clock; measured values are stored by an internal data logger and readable in open format via USB, with Ethernet as the computer interface. Optical and acoustic fault diagnosis, class 2 temperature selector limiter to DIN 12880, door heating and a water-shortage alarm protect samples and equipment. The stainless-steel interior includes one stainless-steel shelf, four casters (two with parking brakes), a left 50 mm access port with silicone plug and hose rupture protection including water supply and drain up to 1 m. APT-COM™ 4 Basic Edition multi-management software and four potential-free switching contacts complete the configuration from manufacturer Binder.
