With a nominal volume of 228 l, stainless-steel interior and APT.line™ preheating chamber technology, it delivers homogeneous conditions and rapid cooling via a cascade compression refrigeration system using CFC-free refrigerants R-452A and R-23. An integrated 20 L water reservoir, capacitive humidity sensor with steam humidification, heated viewing window with LED interior lighting and programmable condensation protection support reliable sample handling. The intuitive touchscreen controller enables time-segment and real-time programming, while an internal data logger exports measured values in open format via USB; Ethernet connectivity and APT-COM™ Basic Edition software complete the system. Four potential-free switching contacts, class 2 temperature safety limiter (DIN 12880), door heating, adjustable ramp function, integrated chart recorder and real-time clock further enhance operational safety. Supplied as a mobile unit on four casters (two lockable) from manufacturer Binder, this MKFT series chamber is engineered for complex, standards-compliant climate change testing with substantial performance reserves.
