Description

Flow-through cuvette (3in1) type 176.765-QS is a precision optical cell fabricated from high performance quartz glass for spectrophotometric use from 200 nm to 2500 nm. Specified path length is 10 × 1 mm, with apertures of 11 × 1 / 11 × 6 mm, a centre height of 8,5 mm and an internal volume of 110 µl, suited to continuous-flow sample presentation. Two M6 screw connections with FEP tubing provide dependable fluidic interfaces. Hellma precision cuvettes are produced entirely in Germany and fit all common spectrophotometers. They are thermally bonded, not glued, giving high resistance to temperature and chemicals while reducing the risk of leakage. Selected high performance quartz glasses deliver excellent transmission above 82 % for exact measurement results. Bevelled edges improve handling comfort and help minimise chipping. Cells can be cleaned and reused as a sustainable laboratory option and are manufactured under EN ISO 9001 and EN ISO 14001 to high optical standards. Pack size is one piece.

Questions about flow-through cells (3in1), 176.765

What is this article?

flow-through cells (3in1), 176.765 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Hellma (IDL) for laboratory use. It sits in Cuvettes, in Labware.

A cuvette is an optical cell. The spectrophotometer or photometer sends a beam through a defined path length, usually 10 mm, and the absorbance is read from that path. Glass is for the visible range. Quartz or a UV-grade plastic is required below about 320 nm, because ordinary glass absorbs there. The path length and the wavelength window are the two numbers that choose the cell. The optical methods that use it sit with NIST and the BIPM. Laboratory ware is indexed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
