Ball funnel "ARNOLD" V2.0 with S50 connection is an electrically dissipative PE-HD safety funnel for secure disposal of hazardous liquid waste. With a funnel diameter of 200 mm it incorporates a 220 mm safety lance, splash guard, removable sieve and earthing cable. The design from manufacturer SCAT unites two independent safety mechanisms: an integrated ball valve in the funnel basin and a sealing ring in the hinged lid that together prevent escape of toxic gases. Electrically conductive high-density polyethylene allows static charges to be safely discharged via the grounding cable, making the funnel especially suitable for explosive or flammable substances. A hinged lid with sealing ring closes the unit when not in use, while the optimised sieve captures larger particles and provides a stable rest for laboratory bottles. The improved splash protection features integrated air channels that minimise bubble formation. The ball valve opens automatically during filling and the safety lance can be shortened individually for clean discharge. All essential components are removable for straightforward cleaning.
