By breaking the free surface swirl that develops under high-speed agitation, the basket improves bulk mixing homogeneity and reduces entrainment of head-space gas. It is particularly well suited to fermentation processes where stable liquid-level behaviour and efficient mass transfer are required. The component fits 10-litre glass vessels and installs as a simple drop-in accessory without modification of the vessel geometry.
