Description
Quantitative hardened folded filter paper with medium-fast filtration is intended for non-critical quantitative laboratory work. Made from cellulose with a low ash content of maximum 0,02 %, it offers a practical compromise between ash-free quantitative grades (maximum 0,002 %) and qualitative low-ash papers (maximum 0,06 %). Medium filtration speed balances flow rate and particle retention for everyday analytical use. The sheet has a grammage of 80 g/m², a pore size of 8–12 µm and a thickness of 270 µm, and is highly moisture-resistant. This pack contains 100 pre-folded filters of 125 mm diameter, supplied in a box for convenient funnel loading. Equivalent to Whatman 52, the grade from manufacturer Labbox supports routine gravimetric work, sample clarification and general filtration where moderate residual ash is acceptable. The pre-pleated format promotes consistent wetting and steady flow during preparation and analysis.
